Happy Halloween Everyone!
Stay safe, and avoid the Boogie Man if at all possible…
The end of October draws near and whether you celebrate the “dark half” of the year as the Celts did or if you celebrate memory of All Souls day the first of November, one thing is certain; there will be darkness and lots of spirits in the air on this chilly and Hallowed Eve.
So click on the next link and cue up some devilishly fun music in the spirit of this spooky holiday. Hit the play all button and return to this page while you take in the sights and sounds of this holiday.
It’s not just the spirits that are making mischief around these parts. We have some witches brewing up some evil stew as they chant their verse:
Double, double, toil and trouble;
Fire burn and caldron bubble…
This is NOT your grandmother’s vegetable stew. Beware!
Some will spend the evening in sheer fright
Others will brave the chilly, scary night in search of tricks or treats, all dressed up in costume.
Still others will steal away for a romantic moment in the moonlight under the stars.
But beware, as with any group that is out and about in festive celebration, you are bound to encounter a few that just can’t seem to control themselves, as they imbibe in those “other spirits” that wreak havoc and torment upon their soul in a very different way. So… take heed now and make sure you don’t whoop it up too much this festive holiday, for you wouldn’t want to wind up like these poor souls…
Happy Halloween to all !!!
